Those of you who remember the last update on BobPoPo.com will most likely remember a special birthday shout-out to the infamous Master Iron Liver. Well, Master Iron Liver’s birthday is just about wrapped up, and, oh, what a time was had! First of all, there was some smoking out of traditional pipes:

But, wait a minute, I thought I saw a sign that said…

Yeesh, I feel nervous just seeing that on my monitor! Whoa-ho-ho! Nervousness was not the order of the day, however, as Iron Liver tried tried very hard to put on a serious face…

…but couldn’t, of course! We don’t want to make him blush, but Iron Liver was definitely the man of the night on his birthday, as evidenced by this incredible picture:

No man can test! Thanks again to Master Iron Liver for slammin’ around with us on the net.

To round out the still picture part of this update, we just have to include a fun little pic of Angel in her natural environment:

What a cute pup! And finally, we present you with a brand-new YouTube video about Bob PoPo and his Macbook:
Oh, snap!
Happy Birthday to Master Iron Liver!
We’d like to start off this entry with a shout-out to Master Iron Liver on his special day! He stayed up chatting with us on the Yahoo! Live chat and on Skype, and we’d like to thank him for taking the time to impart some of his wisdom on us. Thanks for keeping us legit…and happy birthday!

Tonight, Bob spent some time with us in the foyer of his building promoting bobpopo.com, and then went up to his place to give the fans some face time. Fielding some questions in the chat, he showed off his MP4…

And let us in on the fact that his iconic apple is starting to become a little less big as it dries up and begins to rot…live on camera!

As he was throwing the apple into the the air, it slipped out of his hand and collided with some unkown object on Bob’s desk to produce a marking that one person in the chat likened to a pitchfork:

The Satanic Apple! At this point we’d like to give our belated thanks to Queen Lady Sess, Dutty, and Abel for stopping by to hang out with Bob the other day…

And we were especially grateful to Abel for the little spot he did about Bob PoPo, show here in YouTube form:
Abel is only six years old, but he’s already quite articulate; we’re sure to be hearing more from him in the future! That’s all for now on BobPoPo.com, but we’ll be back…

New York Big Shots
The day was a rather somber one on Bob PoPo’s Yahoo! Live channel, as Bob and the rest of the citizens of New York came to grips with a court verdict in a prominent slaying of a young man by some NYPD Officers. While reflecting on the morning’s events with his close friend Dutty, Bob took some time to stand in the glow of the sun and appreciate the sublime beauty he finds in his own life.

As the light streaming into to Bob’s window literally reflected off of his cross and into the homes of the online chatters, we had a casual discourse about our own opinions regarding the complicated issues of race and privilege in relation to their bearing on the initial slaying itself and the acquittals of every NYPD officer involved. At one point, all of the reflecting that was going on bounced off various mirrors and ended up sending us images from outside of in Bob’s alley. Shown here is a pigeon taking off into the air from a ledge below, which we will let speak for itself, just as one would with a real, live pigeon:

Though many of us were certainly weighed down by the ponderous goings-on, life does have a way or reorganizing itself into more and more complex forms, and the initial anger that was so prevalent in the morning hours developed into a healthy upward-looking examination of various affirming principles, such as the so-called “48 Laws of Po.”

That’s a book I’d want to read…but we’ll see what happens with the G Code. Of course, amid all the excitement today, Bob still didn’t forget to give several shout outs to Yahoo! and its Yahoo! Live service, throwing up the Y! logo and even doing some Yahoo! Live-related freestyles that just might show up in a future YouTube video.

When all was said and done, and the evening was winding down, Bob had a bit of a headache. Still, he had realized that the experiences of this day and the emotions those experiences brought up are all part of his personal process of examining the world around him, and was genuinely grateful for the support of everyone in his native Brooklyn, the folks who come to be see him on Yahoo! Live, and, of course, his beautiful Angel!

Finally, I’d be remiss in my duties as a guy who makes YouTube videos about Bob PoPo if I didn’t tell you about the YouTube video I made specifically to include in this update. This is one I know a lot of people have been waiting for…that’s right - it’s The Apple Song!
Summer Jam 2006 Flashback
One of Bob PoPo’s favorite things to do in the summertime is go to Hot 97’s Summer Jam. It is a yearly event taking place in Giants Stadium featuring the best artists in the game in one place. Bob has many great memories of the past events and does so along with his many family and friends.
The performers at this year’s Summer Jam 2008 which will take place on Sunday June 1st are KANYE WEST, RIHANNA, T PAIN, RAY J & YUNG BERG, THE DREAM, D BLOCK featuring STYLES P & SHEEK LOUCH, PUBLIC ENEMY and LIL WAYNE featuring GYM CLASS HEROES. The only person missing is DJ DREAMER of course!
Looking back at the previous event in 2006, BobPoPo has definitely changed. On to the pictures to illustrate this happening. In the upper left picture, BobPoPo has the beginnings of an afro while sporting a denim jean jacket with pink shirt. The flame is out of this world. I didn’t know it was possible to get such a big flame from a regular $0.50 lighter.
Today Bob PoPo looks just as badass as he did back then and then some. These days, collared shirts are the norm for Bob PoPo as he stands out and sets an example for the younger kids growing up.

In this shot, we see Phresh Prince 214 on the left with of course the man himself, Bob PoPo followed by “Just That Dude.” I’ve never seen pants like that until now. They almost look like skeleton pants for Halloween. Very hardcore to say the least.

Bob is in the back shouting “Can you see me?” while everyone else calmly waits for the picture to be taken. DJ Dreamer 524 on the right.

Bob and friends enjoying the festivities at Summer Jam 2006. “It doesn’t get much better than this”, Bob remarks as I talked to him last about his experience at Summer Jam events.

Bob PoPo hopes to see all of his loyal fans at this year’s event. Just look for the man in the tan hat. Click here for more information on Summer Jam 2008. BOOK YOUR TICKETS TODAY!
