What if Bob was in a Hurricane?

If Bob PoPo was in a hurricane he would make the most of it. He would first of all broadcast the whole event on his Apple Macbook via wireless on Yahoo! Live on the streets of wherever the Hurricane was (in this case Brooklyn, NY).

Once the power goes out he would hunker down inside a safe building or shelter where he would continue the partying and festivities. There would be a great deal of Guiness beer for all to go around and Old Dutch cigars for those that know what you do with those. Bob would light candles all over the place to set the mood and Manarg11 and PhreshPrince214 would be in the midst of a heated rap battle while all of Bob’s friends egg them on. Most of Flatbush would be deserted and it would just be Bob, and his friends sticking it out to truely know what a Hurricane is to experience. Bob would make many choices and decisions during the full brunt of the storm. In the end Bob would come away with the situation having been one of the greatest life experiences he has ever endured.

Jamaica’s Usain Bolt is Fastest Man Alive

Bob is very proud of his heritage being from Jamaica so when Usain Bolt set 3 world records and brought home 3 gold medals you can be sure Bob was ecstatic.

Bolt broke world records in winning the 100 meters (9.69 seconds), 200 meters (19.30) and 400-meter relay (37.10), something no man had done at an Olympics. None of the finals was even close, and Bolt began his celebration in the dash before it was done, stretching out his arms with palms up, then slapping his chest.

“I came out here prepared,” he said. “I worked hard — that’s all I can say. … I worked hard to get here. It wasn’t easy at all. It may look easy, but it was hard.”

A Look Back at the Early Days

Show your appreciation for all the great times that Bob entertained you by leaving him a comment on this posting. What was your favorite BobPoPo moment of all time?

From someone who has been there from the beginning, it’s hard to pick just one moment.

Here are a few good ones: The Apple Store, BobPoPo Total Fitness, Taking BobPoPo to the Streets (where he drops the macbook), NYPD Frisk and book BobPoPo in the hallway (happened LIVE), and so many more performances that have not been documented.

The State of the PoPo

With the U.S. 2008 Presidential election nearly upon us we thought the Bob PoPo viewers would like to know where Bob stands on a lot of the key issues that have been on the minds of many American. We’d like to think that if Barack Obama weren’t around this year that Bob would certainly be the current front-runner for the White House (counting on the black vote first and foremost, of course). Though he’s not a current favorite to win, Bob does have some strong stances of the big issues:

Iraq and Afghanistan

Bob PoPo believes that too many young soldiers are being brought back home in body bags, and this needs to stop immediately. The retaliation against 9/11 terrorists may have been warranted at the time but it should have ended years ago. The security of this country will always be in doubt but killing innocent people is something we can stop today by pulling the troops out and letting the war zone countries get back on their feet with permanent democratic governments in place.

Education

Children are the future of this country and we need to do a better job with one-on-one assessment. If a child is struggling in certain areas (as shown by weekly tests), he or she would have to spend more time on that particular subject.

We need to do a better job with high school students who drop out. For all those that would prefer to end their educational careers before getting a diploma, we would instate a School of  PoPo where a more laid back atmosphere is present. Let’s face it: high school can be very demanding, and Bob PoPo knows that better than anyone else. When he was growing up he always wanted there to be a second option without the penalty of being labeled a “dropout.” This would greatly help out a majority of kids who are inclined to simply take the easy route out.

Technology

Much like education, technology and it’s advancements are very important to the prosperity of the United States. Bob is a strong preacher of the moving forward with the rapid pace of technology development and using it to its fullest potential. Bob is a strong believer in web-based communications, most notable the Yahoo! Live platform. Forget ustream.tv, justin.tv, etc. Bob believes everyone should be able to ask him a question whenever they want and Yahoo! Live makes this possible. When elected, Bob will broadcast 24/7 in his Yahoo! Live channel, bringing his Macbook around the world while making sure he is connected so he that can always tackle the tough questions that U.S. public deserves answers for.

This is just a brief summary of a few of the subjects in Bob PoPo’s platform. If you would like more answers to where he stands on even more controversial questions, send him a message and he’ll get back to you right away. In the mean time, Bob urges you to vote wisely in the upcoming election and always vote with your heart. Don’t vote for the black person just because he’s black. Don’t vote for the white woman just because she’s a woman. Unless it’s Hilalry Clinton.
